Indian doctors in Sweden are leading frontline soldiers against Covid fake news

He is a doctor, clinical science scientist and a researcher.
But Dr.
Netha Hussain, who moved to Gothenburg University in Sweden for a PhD in clinical science science after studying medicine at the Government Medical College, Kozhikode, has also been fighting tireless wars with wrong information and fake news about Covid-19.
He has written several articles related to the medical aspects and socio-economic impacts of pandemic in Wikipedia, online encyclopedias, made and edited by volunteers throughout the world, and are recognized for their UN efforts last year.
He, in fact, active contributors on the Wikipedia and Sister projects in English and Malayalam for a decade on topics related to drugs, health care, and women’s biography.
As a medical professional, Hussain is a member of the Wikijournal Drug Editorial Board and has created partnerships with medical institutions for content donations.
Recently respected by Wikipedia for extraordinary contributions, he was one of the few female doctors on the platform that contributed medical content.

When I learned something at school, I used to look for Wikipedia to see if the concept was there.

When the Covid-19 pandemic first appeared, he tried to learn as much as possible about it.

The focus is on how the pandemic has an impact on vulnerable individual groups, such as in pregnancy.
When he realized that the information related to the pandemic was rampant, he also worked specifically to fight wrong information, by creating pages such as’ list of methods that were not proven to be Covid-19 ‘and’ information related to vaccination.
He also launched the ‘vaccine security project’ on August 2020 to map knowledge gaps.
“At present, people are online to find information related to health and land on Wikipedia.
Research shows that Wikipedia is one of the most popular websites in providing health information.
If readers don’t find what they are looking for, they tend to go to social media And the blog where the information is wrong is rampant, “he warned.
And often he finds friends to thank him when they benefit from the articles he has done and repairs.
Hussain is proud of the fact that the leading medical journal also has used the content distributed by it.
Dr.
Hussain moved to Sweden in 2016 to pursue a PhD in neuroscience and finish it in 2020.
He then began working as a medical doctor, while also examining part-time in Gothenburg on the west coast of the Scandinavian country.
He found Sweden welcomed immigrants and was part of a small but vibrant Indian community that celebrated his shared Desi Festival and organized cultural events.
“But it is in a challenging medical profession because someone needs to learn Sweden, forward knowledge tests and complete short training to be able to work as a licensed doctor.
This process usually takes months for years,” he said.
