Indian envoys accommodate the security secretary of the US Homeland

WASHINGTON: Indian Ambassador to the US, Tararjit Singh Sandhu, held US homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas at his official residence on Monday.
“Happy to host” secretary mayorkas “tonight at India House!” Sandhu said in a tweet.
There are no other details of the meeting provided.
Rarely that a US Administrative Cabinet Minister attended dinner organized by foreign diplomats at his residence.
Maytors are the first Latino and immigrant confirmed to serve as a Homeland security secretary.
He has led a 30-year-old career honorable as a national law enforcement and lawyer recognized in the private sector.
He served as Deputy Secretary of Homeland under the Obama-Biden government from 2013 to 2016.
Earlier this year after the meeting between Sandhu and Mayors, the two countries had agreed to rebuild “dialogue on the security of the country”.
