New Delhi: India crashed into China on Thursday to once again responsible for the Eastern Ladakh deadlock, stressed that the “provocative” behavior and “unilateral” effort by the Chinese military to change the status quo resulted in serious disruption of peace and calm in the region.
Spokesman for the External Ministry (MEA) Arinindam Bagchi said China continued to deploy a large number of troops and weapons in the border area and it was in response to China’s actions that the Indian armed forces must make the right counterpropriation.
He said it was India’s hope that the Chinese would work towards the initial resolution of the remaining problems along the actual control line (LAC) in East Ladakh while fully obeying the agreement and bilateral protocol.
The Reaction of India came to respond to China’s new accusations that the “causes” of tensions between the two countries were New Delhi following “advanced policies” and “illegally” catapulted China.
Bagchi said India had cleaned its position a few days ago and rejected such a statement that had “no basis in facts”.
“It is a large number of troops by the Chinese, their provocative behavior and unilateral efforts to change the status quo contrary to all our bilateral agreements which resulted in serious peaceful disorders and tranquility along the LAC on the East Lank,” he said.
“China continues to use a large number of troops and weapons in the border area.
It is in response to China’s actions that our armed forces must carry out the right spread of cons in these areas to ensure that India’s security interests are fully protected,” Bagchi said).
He also referred to the message of the External Minister S Jaishankar to his colleagues at the Dushane meeting earlier this month.
“As emphasized by the Minister of External Affairs at his meeting with Chinese Foreign Minister earlier this month, it was our hope that the Chinese would work towards the initial resolution of the remaining problems along the LAC in East Lank while fully complying with bilateral agreements and protocols,” said Bagchi.
