Indian Muslim students say the hijab prohibits the choice of religion or education

Udipi: Ayesha Imthiaz, an obedient Indian Muslim who considers wearing a hijab of devotion to the Prophet Muhammad, said a step in college to expel the girls wearing hijab is an insult that will force him to choose between religion and education.
“The insult was asked to leave my classroom to wear a head scarf by college officials has shook my core trust,” said the 21-year-old student from the South Karnataka District, where the protest on the head cover ban began.
Safe! You have managed to throw your voteogin to see the results of “my religion has been questioned and insulted by a place that I consider to be an educational temple,” he told Reuters.
“It’s more like telling us that you choose between your religion or education, it’s the wrong thing,” he said after studying for five years at Mahatma Gandhi Memorial College in Udupi.
Some Muslim girls who protested the ban had received a threatening call and forced to stay in the room, he added.
Lecture officials said students were allowed to wear headscarves on campus and only asked them to release them in the classroom.
Udupi is one of three districts in the coastal area that is sensitive to the religion of Karnataka, which is the fortress of Prime Minister Narendra Modi Bharatiyah Bharata Janata (BJP).
Stand-off has increased fear and anger among Muslim minorities, who say the country’s constitution gives them the freedom to wear what they want.
Protests on the prohibition have increased, with hundreds of shows this month in Kolkata and Chennai.
Last week, a judge in the State High Court referred to the petition challenging the ban on a larger panel.
This problem is internationally watched internationally as a religious freedom exam that is guaranteed by the Indian Constitution.

On Friday said the headscarf ban “violated religious freedom and mattation and marginalized women and women.”
In response, the Indian Foreign Ministry on Saturday said external comments on internal problems were not accepted and the problem was under the review.
Imthiaz and six other Muslim girls who protested the ban said they were determined to fight for their religious freedom in facing some Hindu students of hardline and even some of their friends.
“It hurts to see our own friends against us and say that ‘I have a problem with you wearing a hijab’ …
