Head of PLA (Irengbam Chaoren) has congratulated the cadres who participated in the operation,” said the statement, which was signed by the publicity of mottains.
The incident occurred near the village of Sekhen, when the militants first detonated Ied and then opened fire on the Convoy of 46 Assam Battalion Rifles, when Col Tripathi, along with family members, would oversee the civil action program in Churachandpur.

For the first time, guerrillas in the northeast killed the family members of the security forces.
Manipur has more than 40 rebel groups that are prohibited, most of them lie low after signing delays in separate operating agreements with the government.
