New Delhi: The Navies of India and Algeria have committed naval exercises of girls from Algeria Beach, in reflection of the increasing maritime cooperation between the two parties.
Stealth Frigate Stealth India INS Tabar and Algerian Navy Ans Ezzadjer is part of maritime partnership training which takes place on Sunday, officials said.
Indian Navy spokesman Commander Vivek Madhwal described the exercise as an “landmark” event, said it opened the possibility of increasing the interaction and collaboration between the two navies in the future.
“As part of the exercise, various activities including coordinated maneuvers, communication procedures and past steam are carried out between Indian and Algeria warships,” he said.
“This exercise allows both navies to understand the concept of operations followed by one another, increased interoperability and open up the possibility of increasing interaction and collaboration in the future,” Navy officials said.
India has focused on improving defense and security relationships with various African countries in recent years.
