Indian NGO creates a background in the Dior Show

The French couture house Christian Dior kicked Paris Fashion Week with direct runway shows and what stands out of stunning clothes is a beautiful installation created in collaboration with Chanakya School of Craft, a non-profit founded by Monica Shah and Karishma Swalli.
It is a known organization to empower female craftsmen and preserve rich Indian arts and crafts.
This is the second time the design house assigns organizations to make their sets.

Actress Jessica Chastain, the way Delevingne, Monica Bellucci and Florence Pugh are one of the limited crowds lined catwalk in Dior’s Fall / Winter 2021-2022 Haute Couture Collection.
“I am very happy to be in a room with people and see extraordinary pieces,” Chastain said after the show, which he said was his first public program since the pandemic.
Designer Maria Grazia Chiuri told Reuters that she wanted the cloth to be ahead and center.
The audience in the room can appreciate the details and tactile properties of cloth in a way that does not appear online or in video recording.
Ansambel tweed, from a jacket to a hat that resembles a horsehanded helmet, rides the stage in a mixed tone filling.
The model shows vegetal molds in the velvet and satin coat.
For night appearance, there is a long skirt embroidered with a thin pleated feather and dress in silk gauze.
In recent months, fashion brands have exhibited their collections in the only online format such as short films.
With vaccination progress and locking loosen, fashion tiptoes turn to traditional catwalks, for now mixing direct audiings and online presentations.
“We are all very emotional,” Chiuri said.
“There are so many people working on the collection.
We are happy to be aware of beautiful films but it’s just a little impersonal.
[Everyone] is really proud of the show, be behind the stage, turn on our clients, press, our friends.
In one and a half years, we lost a lot of human contact, “he said.
LVMH (LVMH.PA) Dior was performed at the show at the Museum of Rodin Paris in a temporary structure covered with embroidery designed by French artist Eva Jospin, and made by Indian Craftswomen.
Paris Fashion Week runs until July 8.
