Indian-origin Sikh Guy among 8 killed in Railroad yard shooting California

LOS ANGELES: A 36-year-old Indian-origin Sikh guy was one of eight people killed in the horrible railroad yard shooting at San Jose from the US state of California, based on press reports on Thursday.

Taptejdeep Singh, born in India and raised in Union City, California, has left his wife, richest kid, one-year-old daughter, and also a grieving Sikh community in the San Francisco Bay Area, that described him as a”friendly and affectionate” guy, The Mercury News reported.

Co-workers in the Valley Transportation Authority (VTA) hailed Singh as a fanatic, saying he abandoned the security of an office space, where a few coworkers were concealing to help individuals escape the point of fire.

Samuel Cassidy, 57, a care employee of the VTA, San Jose, on Wednesday gunned down eight of his own co-workers and seriously wounded another in a few of the deadliest shootings in California country this past year.

As authorities arrived in the scene, even the killer died from a self-inflicted gunshot.

Singh has been a light railway operator in the VTA for two decades now.
He worked in another building from where the majority of the other victims had been discovered, providing the impression that Cassidy had chosen his victims.
Singh was fatally shot at the stairwell of a VTA construction, ” the report stated.

Singh’s brother-in-law, PJ Bath, yet another light rail operator in the VTA, affirmed the shot and Singh have been in various buildings originally but said nothing about the sufferers being pre-decided from the killer.

“He just happened to be in the way, I imagine.
He was always useful to everybody and affectionate,” Bath Explained
“We’re in rather deep despair,” Singh’s uncle Sakhwant Dhillon advised the San Jose-based paper.

“He told people,’be cautious, conceal.
‘ He had been running round the construction to rescue others’ lives.
He had been a fantastic individual.
He helped everyone,” Dhillon said.

Singh’s brother Bagga Singh stated he had been advised that his brother had rescued a woman when he”hurried down the stairway,” in which he was finally shot.

Singh could be regarded as a hero, however”he must have spared his lifetoo.
We lost a fantastic man,” Bagga stated.

Emotional scenes have been seen in the Red Cross Center at town where families of all the victims gathered following the incident has been reported.

Singh’s family, such as his dad hugged each other and cried.

Some other victims of the shooting have been identified as Paul Delacruz Megia (42), Adrian Balleza (29), Jose Dejesus Hernandez (35), Timothy Michael Romo (49), Michael Joseph Rudometkin (40), Abdolvahab Alaghmandan (63), along with Lars Kepler Lane (63).

The rationale behind the shooting isn’t yet apparent.
Minutes following the episode, a fire was reported in Cassidy’s house, roughly 13 kilometres in the VTA office.

The flame has been extinguished within an abysmal operation.
Police said another investigation is happening from the flame.
