Mumbai: The entire Indian team has tested negative for Covid after reports of fresh RT-PCR test performed on Thursday morning arrived around 5:30 the evening UK (10 PM IST).
The match was under threat after tourists canceled the training session and media commitment following the report on Thursday from fresh Covid-19 cases involving supporting staff members.
But a spokesman for the ECB said later Thursday that all subsequent RT-PCR test from the Indian squad have produced negative results and that test match “walk forward”.
