Kolkata: Four-day cultural events titled ‘Bjoya Sanskritic Mahotsav’ began on Sunday to showcase cultural relations between India and Bangladesh for 1971 Bangladesh Liberation War and bring it to the top stories of the courage of Indian army soldiers and Mukti Jodha in historic fighting.
Helped by the East Command of the Indian Army in Kolkata events including music concerts by Bengali musicians who were prominent, film screening, theater games mentioned and fusion ribbons (merging army pipes, brass and jazz) in Rabindra Sadan and Nandan Convention Center.
This program is part of the celebration of ‘Swarnim Vijay Varsh’ to mark 50 years of Bangladesh’s release war.
