WASHINGTON: Strategic partnerships between India and the United States are more critical than those who contain the Taliban and prevent terrorism, said an influential American parliament member Friday.
“The US-Indian strategic partnership is now even more critical in holding the Taliban and preventing terrorism,” said Indian American Congressman Ro Khanna in a tweet.
Khanna, who represented Silicon Valley at the House of Representatives, was the Deputy Chair of the Indian American Congress Congress at home.
Khanna said she would work with the leadership of India Caucus to strengthen Indian-US partnerships on national security.
