Indian women’s cricket team Has Initial dose of Covid vaccine

NEW DELHI: Many members of this UK-bound Indian women’s cricket team have already been administered the first dose of this Covid-19 vaccine before the forthcoming away series against England starting June 16.
The Indian group, which is now in quarantine in Mumbai, will start its UK tour using a one-way Evaluation in Bristol in June 16.
It’ll be followed by 2 T20Is on July 9 and 11 at Northampton and three ODIs starting June 27.
“All of the players of their women’s group have their initial dose of hepatitis.
The majority of these got it within their various cities, though a couple who did not, obtained their initial jabs on Thursday,” a BCCI source said.
Spin-bowling all-rounder Deepti Sharma on Thursday shared an image of her accepting the jab on Twitter.
“Although I am somewhat fearful of needles, however I got myself vaccinated now.
I recommend people to get vaccinated when possible! #GotTheDose #We4Vaccine #CovidVaccine,” she’d tweeted.
The source said a lot of those players obtained Covishield vaccine and they’ll be handled their next dose from the united kingdom health area.
The women’s group will leave for UK together with the men’s group, led by skipper Virat Kohli, at a chartered flight on June 2.
The associates of Indian men’s group, such as Kohli,” Mohammed Shami, Ajinkya Rahane, Cheteshwar Pujara, Umesh Yadav, Ishant Sharma, Jasprit Bumrah and Rishabh Pant, also have obtained the initial jab of all Covid-19 vaccine at different centers in the Nation.
