New Delhi: The World Women’s Cricket Team that is bound in the world will gather in Mumbai on Sunday for a week of quarantine before a trip to New Zealand.
The players have gathered in Dehradun recently for team bonds and children on the team also assigned the task to develop leadership skills.
The 15-team members and three reserves are now asked to report to Mumbai where they will isolate for a week.
The team is expected to depart for New Zealand on January 24 and the players must undergo another quarantine on arrival.
India plays a five-match series and one from T20 against the New Zealand host starting February 11 before the ODI World Cup in March-April.
Team management wants a training camp for a week before departure but cannot be arranged due to the increasing Covid-19 case throughout the country.
