India’s attitude about the famous, consistent & not ambiguous nepal limit: Embassy

Kathmandu: The Indian Embassy on Saturday said that India’s position at its limits with famous Nepal, was consistent and not ambiguous in the midst of dissatisfaction in the opposition to a report that the Indian government was carrying out construction activities on the map that had been included in the map.
The statement of the Indian Embassy here comes a few days after the main opposition Nepal Marxis-Leninist Communist Party united Nepal (CPN-UML) urged Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba to talk about the problem of boundaries and made his position clearly on Lipulekh.
“UML without hesitation believes that road construction and other structures must be stopped.
This problem must be resolved immediately through dialogue and no structure that must be built at the state level until the resolution is achieved through dialogue,” read a statement issued by Rajan BhaTaiLarai, Head UML’s foreign department.
Responding to media queries for the latest reports and statements in Nepal on the question of Indian-Nepal’s limits, a spokesman for the Indian Embassy said: “The Government of India’s position at the famous, consistent and unmarked Indian-Nepal limit.
Has been communicated to the Nepal government”.
“This is our view that the mechanisms and channels between established governments are most appropriate for communication and dialogue.” The problem of boundaries agreed upon with extraordinary shared can always be overcome in the spirit of bilateral relations that are close and friendly, “he said.
In November last year, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh said in Pithoragarh in Uttarakhand that there was an effort to create a misunderstanding in Nepal about the road from Lipulekh Pass to Mansarovar through Dharchula recently.
The State Minister for Defense Ajay Bhatt also claims that pilgrims will soon be able to visit Kailash-Mansarovar with Cars because RS 60 Crore has been subject to sanctions by the center to increase the border road from Ghaterkh into one.
Singh last month reiterated that the route to Mansarovar via Lipulekh Pass had been cleaned.
Lipulekh Pass is the western point near the Kalapani, the border area between Nepal and India.
Good India and Nepal claim the Kalapan As an integral part of their territory – India as part of Pithoragarh Uttarakhand and Nepalese as part of the Dharchula district.
The bilateral bond was under tension at that time Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli after India opened a very strategic way for 80 km which connected Lipulekh Pass with Dharchula in Uttarakhand on May 8, 2020.
Nepal first protested the inauguration of the road that claimed that it passed the territory, And for days later, came out with a new map showing Lipulekh, the Plane and Limpiyadhura as his area.
India reacts sharply to move.
However, in June 2020, the Nepal Parliament approved a new political map of the country featuring areas maintained by India.
After Nepal released the map, India criticized the move, calling it “unilateral action” and warned Kathmandu that “artificial enlargement” territorial claims were unacceptable.
