NEW DELHI: A IndiGo ATR with approximately 10 people on board needed a tyre burst whilst landing Hubli on Monday evening.
The aircraft (VT-IYX) has been working as 6E-7979 from Kannur to Hubli.
Confirming the tyre burst arrival, an IndiGo spokesperson stated:”All crew and passengers are secure.
Aircraft is now under care maintenance tests in Hubli.” Even the 78-seater turboprop had five passengers aboard.
The destination has been seeing rains and powerful winds in the time of approach.
The ATR failed a go-around from the first strategy and anded at the next attempt once the tyre burst occurred.
It came to a stop on the runway and needed to be eliminated from there.
