HUBBALLI: A Hubballi-bound IndiGo airplane suffered a tyre burst whilst landing , airport police said on Tuesday.
But, all of the passengers and crew members have been protected.
In a formal announcement, the IndiGo Airlines stated,”IndiGo ATR working 6e-7979 from Kannur into Hubballi reported Tyre Burst in Hubli upon birth yesterday (Monday) afternoon.
All crew and passengers are secure.
Aircraft is now under care maintenance tests in Hubballi.” Based on an official in the airport, the plane had touched down 8.03 pm Monday but because of cross breeze, it removed instantly and went about.
It landed again in roughly 8.35 pm.
“Probably because of difficult landing and cross breeze, the tyre burst,” the officer stated.
All passengers were disembarked in the airport and the runway was removed by two am on Tuesday.
“The flight surgeries are now regular.
We’ve advised the ATC regarding the episode,” the official added.
