Chennai: Special Court for a trial of a criminal case related to members of the elected parliamentary and legislative members Tamil Nadu has found former Minister R Indira Kumari, her husband and an official retired officially guilty of misuse of funds as social welfare.

Indira Kumari, her husband’s husband and official retirees have been sentenced to five years in prison.
The minister and several others were ordered in 1997 with respect to misuse of funds.
According to prosecution, the defendant and other people suck down government funds by creating trust.
They execute documents to show that funds are directed to school, but there are no schools that function.
This caused the government to lose Rs 15 Lakh.
Chargesheet in this case was submitted before the main session and special judge, the city civil court, in 2004 and this case was delayed for more than 17 years.
Assistant Judge N Alicia recited the verdict on Wednesday.
According to the source, after the verdict, Indira Kumari complained of respiratory problems and was rushed to the hospital.
