Indore: A thirtimate man who allegedly gave a ‘triple talaq’ to his wife, a resident of the Mig region in Indore on the cellphone when he delivered a baby girl, police said.
The MIG police acted on the complaint of a 32-year-old school teacher Aleena Khan registered firs against her husband Aas Mohammad Khan, police said.
The defendant was ordered based on the part of the Protection of Muslim Women’s Rights on Marriage Act Along with the Part ¾ Dowry and 498-A Law and 498-A, 323,294,506.34 IPC for dowry, beatings and other abuse.
The In-Charge Police Station Ajay Verma told Tii, “the husband who was accused of allegedly deactivated Talaq three times the phone to give Talaq a complainant because he did not give a baby boy.” “The defendant also harassed him physically and mentally demanded Rs 5 lakh.
When he denied, accused with his in-laws beat him badly,” said Ti Verma.
The complainant moved to Indore to his family.
Both the complainants and her husband lived in Indore after their marriage before leaving it up, when he was addicted to intoxicating himself, said Ti Verma.
Aleena married Aas Mohammad, a resident of Hapur District in June 2009.
They both entered a dispute within three months of getting married because he began to harass him for failing to give a dowry, police said.
The couple was blessed with a baby girl in 2014 and abuse increased.
Her husband and his brothers began to beat him worse.
Then he and her husband shifted to Indore, police said.
