NASHIK: Chamber of Commerce, Maharashtra Industry & Agriculture (Maccia) has been looking for the State Industry Department to relax the norms related to construction in the Development Control Regulation (DC) from Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC).
Maccia delegation, led by his President Santosh Mandlecha, recently met with the Minister of Industry Subhash Desai, looking for its intervention in relaxed norms related to plant construction in the MIDC DC rules.
In accordance with the norm, it is mandatory for the industry to make at least 40 percent of the construction on the land allocated by MIDC on industrial plantations.
In addition, they must make construction within three years of the allocation.
According to the association, most industrial time cannot carry out 40 percent construction for various reasons in three years.
Therefore, there is a need to reduce the minimum construction conditions on industrial plots from 40 percent to 20 percent to provide assistance to the industry.
Mandlecha said the Minister of Industry of Subhash Desai had convinced to see this problem positively.
