The pursuit of a sustainable and development-oriented budget, DDA said that RS 2,922 Crore has been allocated for the development of land and physical infrastructure, especially in Dwarka, Rohini and Narella.
A provision of RS 47.5 Crore was made for the construction of waste water drains in sector 8, Dwarka to meet the water discharge from IGI airport.

Sub-City Narela, who remains a ghost city mainly due to lack of connectivity through public transportation, will get from budget allocations made for projects related to transportation.
DDA has saved Rs 725 Crore for Urban Road-II estimates, which are being built by the National Highway Authority of India and will connect Narea to Rohini and Dwarka, thereby reducing traffic congestion.
Delhi Metro Rail Corporation will be granted RS 1,000 Crore gradually for Phase-IV projects, which will also connect Narea to the Metro network.
At FY 2022-23, the provisions of the RS 240 Crore have been provided for the project.
The allocation of RS 2,543 Crore has been made to complete a housing project.
Dda said a number of projects tended to be completed for 2022-23 and have projected revenue from Rs 2,761 Crore from flat sales.
Funds are also allocated for rehabilitation in situ residents of slums, which include RS 30 Fiscal Crore for the construction of 3,024 eWS flat in the Kalkaji Extension and RS 168 Crore for construction 1,675 EWS flats in Jaiorwala Bagh.
DDA has drifted demand for proposals for six similar projects.
Authority has provided Rs 280 Crore for Bharat Vandana Park, which is being made in Dwarka by NBCC, in addition to RS 77 Crore expenditure towards the development, improvement and maintenance of DDA Park.
Overall, RS 35.8 Crore has been allocated for rejuvenation and recovery of the Yamuna floodland.
While Rs 426 Crore was allocated for the East Delhi Hub project in Karkardoom, Rs 6 Crore was set aside for a special corridor for cyclists and pedestrians, and RS 26.6 Crore for the DDA commercial center in Nehru Place, Basant Lok Community Center.
