Infra Project: Immediate Bengaluru War Hall

Facilities will provide real-time information about the status of the main urban project and will be supervised by the minister’s chairman
This city may soon have a war room to speed up infrastructure projects.
The industrial captain’s delegation that met with the Chairman of the Minister of Bukavaraj Bommai on Sunday suggested establishing a special platform to coordinate with various civil institutions for completion of infrastructure projects on time.
The war room is likely to be manned by senior officials with representatives of technocrats and civil society.
The delegation, which meets the new cm is appointed at lunch, including the founder of Wipro Azim Premji, Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw Biocon, Co-Founder Infosys Kris Gopalakrishnan and Chairperson of Global Manipal Educasitonv Mohandas Pai.
The chairman of the Bommai Minister verbally approved the proposal and promised to discuss it with cabinet colleagues and senior officials.

The delegation gave CM about obstacles and delays faced by the main infrastructure projects including Metro, smart city work, peripheral ring road and white topping roads, namely uncomfortable citizens.
According to delegates, the creation of platforms for inter-departmental coordination is needed to sort out problems and challenges that interfere with this work.
A source said the war room, which will provide real-time access to information about important urban projects, will be directly supervised by the minister’s chairman, who is also the Minister of Development Bengaluru.
“The whole city looks like a construction zone.
Unless the project is taken on a war footing, we will make more messy,” Anil Shetty, Treasurer of BJP Yuva Morcha, which is part of the delegation, said.
“If higher, including the main minister does not monitor progress, the implementing body will take a sweet time to complete the project,” he added.
A Metro official Namma Senior agreed that a lack of coordination caused a delay.
“Metro construction can only be started after the rights of the road (row) fully in our prisoner.
It takes almost a year just to remove all underground utilities including cable and water pipes.
There has been a delay in acquiring land, especially belonging to government departments such as trains or defense .
These problems are now sorted at the secretary level of the head but the instructions are not followed immediately.
We do not know what the difference is the new war room, “the officer said.
Urbanis V Ravichandar, meanwhile, believes that the city must need a coordination agency but add that the proposed war room will only succeed if they have people who are part of the system.
“We do not have a lack of suggestions or ideas.
The problem lies in implementation.
Civil society and industrial industry can provide ideas, but the point is that ownership and execution must be with people in the system,” he said.
This is not the first industrial leader has suggested the creation of forums to overcome the gap in Bengaluru’s infrastructure or policy.
During the working period of SM Krishna as the main minister, the Task Force of the Bangalore agenda was formed in 1999 under the leadership of the former CEO Infosus Nandan Nilekani.
The team has suggested the current self-assessment scheme, monitor the execution of the outer ring road and oversee Lalbagh’s rejuvenation and install Nirmala’s toilet.
Furthermore, former Minister of Chief Justice Yediyurappa formed an agenda for the infrastructure and development of Bengaluru (obedient) in 2009 and then in 2016 then CM Siddaramaiiah established a Group of Bengaluru’s vision.
The creation of such task units, however, draw controversy because it has a representation only of what is called ‘elite club’.
