Gurgaon: a group of residents from the 23A sector held a meeting with the commissioner with MCG Jitender Garg on Monday and discussed some problems, including the improvement and desilting of storm waterways, putting water pipes, making sector entrances, road repairs, including civil works that had been delayed during almost two years.
They demanded to speed up work.
Malkhan Singh, President of Rwa Sector 23A, said, “Some civil works are waiting in our sector for almost two years now and we have now submitted a memorandum who is looking for the initial recovery of them.
Most of the storm water channels are damaged, the cover of the slab is gone, clogged with C & D waste, desilting and improvements that are not done even though recurring reminders.
The water channel has not been connected to water stagnation.
Similarly, our sector road adjacent to Park Janamdivas has not been repaired for the past year despite some guarantees from the citizenship authority.
“Subhash Kaushik , Treasurer of Rwa said, “The new water pipe has been approved for our sector, but the contractor has left work in the middle and its inhabitants are forced to eat dust out of the digging road.

“Meanwhile, Jitende R Garg, Joint-2 Commissioner, said, “We have recorded their problems and I will conduct a site inspection along with relevant officials on Thursday.
We will ensure that all development work is taken and resolved immediately.
