Noida: Sector 79 residents, who live close to construction plants and demolition of factories in sector 80, have complained about periodic disposal and burning of garbage in the area, with gross violations of the Green Tribunal National Norm (NGT).

According to Ridhima Singh (18), a resident of Sportswood Sector 79, the land opposite the community complex in sector 112 has a large barren soil.
On the one hand it is surrounded by small rural settlements and high-rise communities, while on the other hand, there is an industrial unit under the Industrial Unit Special Economic Zone Noida (NSEZ).

Sanwarjeet Singh, another resident in the nearest apartment complex, said that they often pay attention to the burning of industrial waste in the area for the past six months.

When TII connected Noida authorities, officials there convinced actions about this problem.
“We will take the necessary actions to dispose of garbage and burn it there too, we will recommend this issue to the pollution department,” said SC Mishra, Deputy General Manager, Noida.Praveen Kumar authority, regional officers, Uttar Pradesh pollution control agency ( UPPCB) also convinced action.
“We will conduct an investigation and take the necessary actions against the culprit on priority,” he said.
