NoIDAC / Ghaziabad: The number of Covid patients who were hospitalized in the twin cities of Noida and Ghaziabad increased that day, but many of them came from other districts, officials said.
According to officials, around 125-150 Covid patients are currently accepted in government and personal facilities in Noida.
From them, around 40 came from other districts.
In Ghaziabad, around 120 patients underwent hospital care today.
From them, around 80 came from other places.
Officials said they were still compiling data on the number of patients in private hospitals.
Chief Ghaziabad Medical Officer Bhavtosh ShanKhdhar said he had written to personal facilities for details about the number of patients from the district and other states.
“Apart from personal details, the department also looks for information about the health of the patient.
We must know whether they need oxygen therapy or enter the ICU,” CMO added.
Most of these patients are in two hospitals in the Trans-Hindon region.
One of them is Yashoda Hospital in Kaushambi, where around 35 patients were treated at this time, including those from states and other districts such as Delhi, Baghpat, Meerut and Bijnor.
However, most patients have mild symptoms.
Doctors say patients have symptoms such as colds, coughing, sore throat, shortness of breath, and vomiting along with low oxygen saturation levels.
In Noida too, the Ministry of Health is in the process of collecting the patient’s data.
Sources say most patients from other districts are in private facilities.
At Noida Covid Hospital, a dedicated government facility, 30 patients are currently being treated.
Dr.
Tritya Saxena’s medical inspector said everything was a resident of Noida.
The doctor said four patients were in the ICU because of comorbidity.
At the Sharda Hospital, only two patients received at this time.
Dr.
Ajit Kumar from the hospital said, “Even though we get around 40-60 patients every day, only two patients are recognized now.

“The Institute of Government Medical Sciences (GIMS) in Greater Noida has around 60 patients today, including some of the adjoining districts such as Baghpat, Bijnor and Meerut.
