New Delhi: Indian Navy Ship (INS) Tabar conducted a maritime partnership exercise with the Egyptian Navy Alexandria, Fregat for the frontline of the Egyptian Navy, in the Mediterranean Sea.
This exercise involves various activities that cover various naval surgery, the Indian Navy said in a statement.
“When leaving the Port of Alexandria on September 5, 21, INS Tabar conducted a maritime partnership exercises with the ENS Alexandria, Fregat for the frontline of the Egyptian Navy, in the Mediterranean Sea,” Navy said in a statement.
On Sunday, Indian Navy Tabar has reached Alexandria Harbor in Egypt as part of the ongoing foreign dissemination.
These include exercises for transit through the environment of asymmetrical threats, operations to cross suspicious vessels in the sea, communication procedures, joint development of maritime domain images and charging on sea training.
The highlight of this exercise is a cross-deck Helo operation involving the Helo recovery procedure and air light charging exercises between two ships.
This exercise is significantly useful in increasing the interoperability between two navies and expanding the scope for combined operations against the same maritime threat in the future.
Maritime partnership exercises peaked with ‘past steam’ between two ships, according to the habit of the navy.
