Kanpur: A inspector has been accused of raping a woman who was a complainant for several times in a hotel with the pretext of helping her.
The woman, Indigenous Etawah, was a victim of dowry harassment, and touched the inspector during a post at the civilian line police station in January 2021 in Etawah.
The problem was revealed when married women were pregnant.
In the complaint of the victim, the police arrested the defendant’s inspector from Kulpahar Kotwali in Mahaga Regency.
He was still small when he was raped.
Therefore, the police also imposed a part of Pocso’s actions in the inspector along with rape.
A woman who has just married from a village under the Area of the Bhareh Police Station in Etawah District has met SSP (Etawah) Jai Prakash Singh that some time ago he had submitted a complaint about dowry abuse against her husband at the local police station.
The police intervened and both parties had compromised.
The police station in charge of Mahendra Pratap Singh, who was posted at the Bhareh police station, was then transferred to the Chakarnagar police station.
The in-laws of the victims also came from Chakarnagar.
According to the victim, to reach there, the defendant station was forcibly registered the case of dowry abuse against his in-laws and began to press him to come to the police station.
When he arrived at the police station on 28 Jan 2021, he was asked to go to the Etawah court to give a statement.
On that day, the inspector took him to a hotel located at Station Road, said that there would be no statement that was recorded on that day and then he raped him and also made the obscene photos and videos from his cellphone.
The inspector also threatened to send her husband to prison if he complained about this problem.
On February 7, Inspector Mahendra Pratap Singh again raped him after calling him to a hotel in Etawah.
The victim, who was annoyed due to sexual exploitation by the inspector had filed a complaint to the SSP later in October 4.
The investigation of this case was handed over to Co Rakesh Vashisht.
When there was no action taken, the victim had submitted a complaint with SSP Jai Prakash Singh on Thursday.
The SSP said that in this case, the defendant had been arrested from Mahaba and sent to prison.
