Part of the main Instagram application, rolls allow users to create short music video formats like those found in Tiktok.
This allows users to record and edit video clips 15 seconds using their choice music.
Users are also allowed to use audio from other user videos.

The company has introduced three new effects that will help users automatically create edit to their rolls based on music.
Three new features are – superbeat, dynamic lyrics and 3D lyrics.
By using these features, users will be able to combine music and AR effects on rolls.
Superbeat is a new music beat effect that can automatically apply visual edit that attracts someone’s roll based on the Sony they choose.
On the other hand, dynamic and 3D lyrics are two new lyrics effects that apply song lyrics to your rolls.
