New Delhi: Facebook-Molded Instagram is testing new features that will make it more difficult for users to share content.
With this new feature, the social networking platform aims to stop you from spam to your friends.
According to a report by the threshold, the company is testing ‘reshare’ stickers that can be placed in the story.
The report added that with this new feature Instagram wanted to make more ‘intentional’ and ‘required’ shares.
Along with this, the company also wants to reduce the number of ‘spam’ in the story.
Instagram feels that pressing the share button on the post is too easy and the company wants to add extra steps to the process.
According to the online report, “When selected, the” Recently viewed tab “will appear and allow users to choose from the posts they have seen at the last hour, stored, or posted, which can then they share in their stories.
They can enter IGTV , rolls, and feed video content.
“Previously, if you want to share your story bait post, then you have to do it manually from the post itself.
This new test will replace the function and will require you to navigate from the post by creating a new mode.
Last month the online report revealed that Instagram had started a new test that would allow users to add links to their Instagram stories.
As reported by the threshold, the link given in Instagram’s story will operate in a different way.
Links will not appear with the ‘swipe-up’ option, instead it will appear as a link sticker on the story.
So, users must tap the link to take part in the link.
The report added that people will also be able to respond to these stories that come with a link sticker, which is currently not permitted.
