Intel to train engineering students in India with the ‘Unnati’ program: Details

Chipmaker Intel will train engineering students in India in data-centric skills with the ‘Unnati’ program.
The company plans to establish 100 Intel Unnati Data-Centric Labs during the following year in all universities and engineering institutions in India.
Intel claims that this initiative will provide higher state education institutions with long-term capabilities in technology infrastructure and laboratories, allowing greater focus on research and innovation.
Intel Program Unnati: 15 colleges and universities where the Intel Unnati Program has been tested in 15 colleges in the process of adjusting the center of excellence on their campuses.
The laboratory has been operating in 3 Institutes including Galgotias University – Uttar Pradesh, OPJU – Chattisgarh, and Mission Vinayaka – Tamil Nadu.
12 other colleges which are part of the pilot include: 1.
IIIit Dharwad – Karnataka 2.
University of Amrita – Tamil Nadu & Kerela 3.
Vellore Institute of Technology (Vit) -ap 4.
Yeswant Rao Chavan Engineering College – Maharashtra 5.
T John Engineering College – Karnataka 6.
Marwadi University – Gujarat 7.
University of SRM – Tamil Nadu 8.
Universitas Hindustan – Tamil Nadu 9.
LPU – Punjab 10.
Coe, Roorkee – Uttarakhand 11.
University of Parul – Gujarat 12.
Kumaruru Nadu – Tamil Nadu Intel Unnati Labeach Intel Unnati Lab includes hardware recommendations and software from Intel, Course Content and CO-branded course settlement certificates for students.
At present, the laboratory is available for artificial intelligence (AI), FPGA solutions and AI Internet of Things (AIIOT), with several other technologies in pipes including intelligent mobility and security.
Intel said that engineering institutions will have a choice of laboratory variants to meet their budget and based on where they stand in their technology and infrastructure travel.
In accordance with the chipmaker, program implementation is supported by a network integrator system throughout India that can adjust the configuration of the lab according to the needs of each institution, train faculty in the course content, and provide sustainable maintenance support.
Emphasis will be a direct experience that builds trust among students in the use of hardware and software.
