Intense rainfall in North India from July 18-21, on the west coast until July 23: IMD

New Delhi: The Indian Meteorology Department (IMD) has expected intense rainfall activities on North India from July 18-21 and on the west coast until July 23.
The IMD said the storm was up to severe with lightning very likely in places isolated over Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, and East Rajasthan for the next 24 hours.
“They can cause injuries that lead to victims for people and animals staying outdoors,” the meeting department warned.
IMD said the rainfall activity was very likely to increase with the widespread rainfall for severely isolated to very heavy rain very likely to the West Himalayan region (Jammu, Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit, Baltistan, and Muzaffarabad, Himachal Pradesh) and in the northwest India – – Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, Up and North Madhya Pradesh – Starting from 18 to 21 July.
There will be a decrease in rainfall activity in the same area afterwards.
Isolated, very heavy rainfall is also very possible on Uttarakhand on July 18 and 19 and more than the northwestern part until July 19.
Moderate to heavy rainfall in isolated places is also very possible over Delhi and Chandigarh on July 18 and 19.
West and South India are also expected to receive heavy rain.
Rainfall widespread with isolated rain until very heavy rain is very likely to proceed to the west coast and side by side with the interior for the next 5-6 days.
Heavy rain has become a part of Maharashtra.
The IMD said that isolated, very severe falling is also very possible to the region of Konkan and Goa side by side with the Ghat Maharashtra region, coastal and south interior of Karnataka for July 18 to 19 and in the Gujarat region on July 18.
Heavy waterfall isolated most likely in the east.
And side by side with Central India from July 22 and so on.
