New Delhi: A 29-year-old married man was stabbed to death by three people because of his frequent interaction with a sister of one of them despite repeated objections, police said on Tuesday.
The deceased was identified as Salman.
He married four years ago and survived two children, his wife and mother, they said.
Police said two women had been arrested in connection with the incident that took place on Monday night, and attempts to arrest three men who fled.
According to the police, the victim’s mother, a resident of Trilokpuri, approached the Vihar Police Station with a complaint stating that her son Salman used to speak to a girl who lived near their home.
Both families always object to their friendship.
On Monday, around 10pm, the girl called Salman near her house and talked to her.
Meanwhile, his sister saw them talking to each other and notify his family.
He immediately called his brother Fardeen, aka Addu, who came to the place along with two-three people and began to abuse and beat Salman.
The younger sister and mother triggered Fardeen and his colleagues to teach the lesson to Salman, the victim’s mother accused her complaint.
Fardeen stabbed Salman with a knife and when the victim’s mother asked for help, Fardeen and his colleagues escaped from the place, according to complaints.
Salman was taken to Lal Hospital Bahadur Shastri where he was declared dead on arrival, police said.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (East) Priyanka Kashyap said the case was listed under the Indian Code 302 (murder), 201 (causing loss of evidence of violations, or providing false information on screen violators) and 34 (actions carried out by several people) in the continuation of general intentions) In Vihar Mayur on the complaint of the mother of the deceased.
“Investigations have been taken, two accusations of women have been arrested and three other men accused of being arrested soon,” he said.
