NEW DELHI: India on Wednesday reported the current political developments in Nepal are its own internal issues and it’s for the nation to manage them under its domestic frame and democratic procedures. The ministry of external affairs mentioned India remains unwavering in its support for Nepal and its people in their journey toward peace, harmony and growth. Nepal witnessed new political turmoil a week following President Bidya Devi Bhandari dissolved Parliament following unsuccessful efforts to get a majority to form a new administration by caretaker Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli and resistance leader Sher Bahadur Deuba. We see these as internal issues of Nepal to be coped with these under their own national frame and democratic procedures,” external affairs ministry spokesperson Arindam Bagchi stated. He was reacting to media inquiries on rapid political changes in Nepal. “As a neighbor and buddy, India remains unwavering in its support for Nepal and its people in their journey toward advancement, peace, stability and growth,” Bagchi said.
