International assistance began pouring in Afghanistan even though there were doubts, India was also expected to immediately offer assistance

New Delhi: The international community has begun to extend humanitarian assistance to the Taliban ruled Afghanistan and in a meeting held by the United Nations in Geneva on Monday, various countries including the US promised to assistance in Afghan media.
The US itself announced an additional $ 64 million in aid to Afghanistan today.
The majority of donors are expected to route their assistance through the United Nations because of doubts about the ruling Taliban government in Kabul.
The Taliban government has not been recognized by the majority of countries in the world.
India which remains one of the biggest assistance contributors for Afghanistan for the past two decades has not yet announced assistance to Afghanistan at this time.
The UN Development Program (UNDP) has warned that the level of poverty will shoot up to 97 percent in the coming days, the harsh winter also starts and can have a lack of food and medicine in the coming days.
India believes that a sharp increase in poverty levels in Afghanistan will have disaster consequences for regional stability.
India has pumped $ 3 billion and has done more than 500 development projects present in the three Afghan districts.
India builds roads, schools, dams and parliamentary houses.
Observers here say that India is ready to continue its assistance but has concerns over the distribution.
New Delhi wants non-discriminatory distribution for all parts of the Afghanistan community.
The Minister of External Affairs Jaisankar on Monday made it quite clear that there must be unlimited access, unlimited and direct for donors in Afghanistan.
India also wants commercial activities of the Kabul airport must continue as soon as possible.
There is clearly worries and doubts here in New Delhi whether help will reach them in real needs and whether there is a fair, non-discriminatory distribution.
India is also expected to route aid via the UN route because it is the only organization that has the capacity to monitor distribution.
