Hyderabad: With 1 of the 10 new borns of premature birth and complications associated with high premature infants, there is a need to increase parents’ awareness.
Babies born before pregnancy 37 weeks, at least three weeks earlier than the expected delivery date, called premature babies.
“More than three quarters of premature infants can be saved with decent and cost-effective treatments.
Newborn care, prematurely delivered, including new care that is important for all infants, including thermal care, breastfeeding, infection prevention, and neonatal resuscitation,” said Dr.

Although there may be no clear reason for premature birth, there are often general risk factors.
“Some risk factors include having prior premature birth and pregnant with multiples.
Complications related to premature birth include immature lungs, difficulty managing body temperature, poor feeding and slow weight gain,” said Dr.
