‘Invasive spinal surgery at least works well on the MGMT slip disc’

Nagpur: A 55-year-old man was left without choice but rushed to the hospital emergency department with severe pain in the lower back which was also felt in his left leg making it even could not stand up.
After the investigation, he was diagnosed with a slipping disc, which was very common today.
Doctors at Wockhardt Hospital suggest minimally invasive tubular spinal surgery to remove disks.
Dr.
Rahul Zamad, a spine consultant and surgical surgical surgery, said the operation worked very well as it was done on the same day with only 2.5 cm incision.
Dr.
Zamad said that the patient was truly pain-free after a few hours and was dismissed in less than 24 hours of entry, around after 12 hours of operation “with a very small scar on his back”.
“This operating mode is faster, safer and takes a very less recovery time than open operation,” he said.
It is estimated that 1 to 5% of everyone will suffer back pain caused by discs that slip at a time in their lives.
Discs that slip are more common in people over the age of 30, and about twice as general in men than women.
He said in general, the purpose of minimal invasive operation (eg) is to relieve the pressure applied to the spinal cord and nerves and stabilize the spine.
“It can be caused by hernia discs, degenerative disc diseases, lumbar spinal stenosis, spinal infections and instability, spinal tumors or abnormalities behind,” said Dr.
Zamad.
MIS uses tubular retractors, instruments that move or accommodate networks so that the surgeon can reach certain areas.
After the operation is done, the tubular retractor is removed.
“Risk factors such as local infections are also less in open procedures than.
However, this is not for everyone,” said the doctor.
“The choice of patients is very important in this procedure.
SIM may be unsafe or effective as a traditional procedure in several situations,” said the Surgeon Dr.
Nilesh Gaur.
Dr.
Gaur stressed that certain operations may not be possible in some patients with high risk.
“So, it’s always good to ask a doctor about the relative risk and the same benefit,” he said.
Small incisions, great benefits – better cosmetic results with smaller incisions – reduce postoperative pain – less blood loss – reduce muscle damage and recovery faster – reduce the risk of infection – some operations can even be done as child care procedures
