Jaipur: To accelerate the country’s economic and social development and Rajasthan, the urge must be given to an increase in educational opportunities for girls, the Governor of the Kalaraj Mishra said on Saturday.
Speaking on a virtual event to inaugurate the Government High School in Sirohi District Sheoganj, Mishra said school students must be taught about famous women’s leaders in the history of the country.

Savitribai and her husband Jyotirao Phule opened India’s first school for women in Pune in 1848.
Education Minister Govind Singh Dotasara said because of the efforts of the state government, the education sector in Rajasthan increased progressively.
In the report of the new performance assessment index released for the education sector, Rajasthan has been placed in the class 1+ category along with Delhi and Maharashtra, he said.
