Honolulu: The Federal Investigator said they would look for the seabed near Honolulu for the cargo plane that hit the Pacific last week in hopes of finding a recorder who could guide the plane down.
The two pilots survived after the Boeing 737 they fell on Friday when they tried to return to the airport in Honolulu.
The pilot has reported losing strength in one machine and worrying about other machines also fails.
The National Transportation Safety Board said the researchers planned to use sonar on Monday to survey the debris in which the aircraft sank so they could recover the device that recorded information from the plane and capturing the sound of the cockpit.
The one called a black box can provide vital instructions on the cause of the crash.
The safety body says knowing the location, condition, and depth of debris will help determine how to take notes and whether to save the plane.
The 46-year-old aircraft was operated by Rheades Aviation as a transair Flight 810.
It was scheduled to fly from Honolulu to Kahului, Hawaii, but went to the ocean a few miles off the coast, according to the authorities.
Both pilots, the only people on the ship, were seriously injured and closed to the package and aircraft when they were saved by US coast guards, the authorities said.
The security body says it meets Saturday with other people who will be involved in investigations, including representatives of the Federal Aviation Administration, Rhoades flights, Boeing, Pratt Machine makers and Air Traffic Controllers and Whitney.
