Apple StoreKit 2 is now available for developers as part of Launching iOS15, iPados 15 and Watchos 8.
Storkit 2 is a set of APIs for developers to help them manage purchases in better applications and their application subscriptions.
Storkit 2 is based on new progress in Swift-based API that simplifies how developers get product information and keep them always updated about what happens in their application.
With new APIs, users can easily determine “rights and feasibility for offers, Get a purchase history in the user application, find out the latest status of subscription, provide ways to request a refund and manage subscriptions from within your application, and more”.
Storkit 2 also brings new web signatures fast and JSON for safe transactions.
The company has also updated the App Store Server API with real time notifications.
This is to let the developers know about the latest purchases in their application in real-time.
Basically, the developer will be notified when someone buys a subscription or item in the application in the application.
They will also be notified when subscribing to the user ends.
New real-time notifications will help developers make customized experiences for users.
The App Store server notification will be available later this year.
