The iPad Mini 6 was launched recently with the latest generation of re-design processors and the latest generation.
But some new mini iPad owners don’t enjoy the new tablet tablet screen as much as they expected.
According to reports by 9to5mac, the owner has noticed the effect of “Jelly Scroll” where one side scrolling screen at different levels than the others, produces occasional shake visible in the portrait view.
When viewing the iPad mini in a portrait with the camera at the top, the right side display displays faster than the left side.
Reverse, left side update faster than the right side.
The effect is more difficult to find if you tilt the iPad to landscape orientation, but it’s not a solution if you like reading news websites and social media feeds.
It is still unknown if this is an LCD panel error itself, display controller, or firmware / software problem.
With the display controller installed on the side instead of the bottom or up, it is possible that the display signal only reaches half of the screen faster, in this case the problem will be a consequence inherent from the hardware design.
Apple’s display usually meets very high quality specifications and other iPad models do not have this problem, or if they do it in a way that is less visible.
In the iPad Pro model, the 120Hz refresh speed helps hide synchronization problems during the movement.
Apple hasn’t commented on this problem so far.
Smooth visual problems like this are more troublesome for some people than others.
Many people may pay attention to something dead but then their brains are familiar with problems and can ignore them after a few hours.
For others, it might trigger a headache or nausea.
It’s really on you to decide whether the jelly scrolling problem is enough to give up on the iPad Mini at all.
