Apple is ready to launch iPados 15, iOS 15, Watchos 8 and TVOS 15 on September 20.
While the company has revealed all the main features of the upcoming operating system, a report by MacRumors suggests that with iPados15 developers will be able to allocate more RAM to their applications.
At present, Apple limits the amount of memory that can be used for third-party applications.
Close this to ensure that each application does not use all iPad memory.
With iPados 15, the developer will be able to let the operating system know that their application can perform better if they have access to more RAM.
Apple has shared rights that will only be available on supported devices.
Until now, the 5GB RAM limit was imposed on third-party applications installed on the Pro iPad.
With rights, creative professionals will be able to use demanding applications and intensive graphics smoothly by sharing more RAM on their iPad.
According to graphic developers Designing App Arstudio, M1 iPad Pro with 16GB of RAM can now allocate up to 12GB of RAM to certain applications by using the rights shared by Apple.
The M1 iPad Pro model with only 8GB of RAM will be able to request RAM up to 6GB for certain applications.
It is still unclear whether the rights possessed by Apple will be supported by models outside the Pro iPad.
This week Apple has released the nincoming iPad generation along with the new iPad mini each with 3GB RAM and 4GB.
It is unlikely that the technology giant will remove the RAM allocation cap on this iPad entry-level model.
The upcoming iPados will also bring some new and better features to iPads such as direct text, quick note, universal control, SharePlay and others.
