Bhubaneswar: Ipikol owned state and PSU Central Gail (India) on Wednesday signed an agreement for cooperation in the field of hydrogen green, green ammonia and renewable energy (solar power) for the production of environmentally friendly fuel in Odisha.
According to him memorandum-of-holding, the feasibility study will be carried out to explore the scope to assign proposed plants.
The agreement also emphasizes promoting environmentally friendly fuel production in Odisha.
“Hydrogen green will help the industry cut greenhouse gas emissions (GHG).
Odisha, becoming a surplus of power, is looking to strengthen its position in power, and this upcoming generator will help the state-based heavy industry to increase their growing power requirements, “said Asit Tripathy, the main advisor to the minister of chairman, who was present on the occasion.
“The world is trying to reduce carbon emissions, but need a lot of intention, support and energy to execute change.
We want to help companies in terms of appropriate land and solid support,” Tripathy added the market for Hydrogen.Director (Business Development) Gail MV Iyer said PSU center has focused the development of natural gas infrastructure and clean energy projects in Odisha and the entire country.
