5) For MI, the best scenario tied fourth with KKR, which can occur if they win their last match against SRH.
But it won’t really help defending champions, because it’s also almost certainly means that the KKR will go through, considering that NRR is much higher.
6) Look, how difficult it is for MI to catch up with KKR NRR – – if MI is for the first bat and a score of 220 against SRH today and then a bowl for 50 (which will defeat the 146 record margin for all IPL seasons), it’s still not enough .
Similarly, if they are for a SRH bowl for 50 and then pursue 3 overs, it won’t be enough to overhaul the NRR KKR.
7) Bottomline – DC and CSK will be almost certainly dealing with entering the final directly in the knock-out stage in qualifying 1.
