And even that only if RR won their last match against KKR and SRH beat MI.
5) For MI, the best case scenario is clear – fourth without bonding, which can occur if they win their last match against SRH and RR beat the KKR.
If that doesn’t happen, they can still bind fourth.
If MI wins against SRH and KKR against RR, which will ensure a two-way tie for the fourth among them at 14 points, but it almost certainly means the KKR is a higher NRR.
Another possibility is if MI and KKR lost their last game.
In the event, there will be a tie of four directions, but once again the KKR will be placed to qualify.
6) The TRC only needs to win against RR or at least make sure they are not inferior to the big margin.
If they win, they will be the only occupant of the fourth playoff slot.
If they lose, they have to pass NRR as a tiebreak, giving MI losing to SRH.
7) RR can reach a four-way tie for fourth place by defeating the KKR and then hoping that SRH defeated MI.
The combination of other results will see it finished five or seventh.
8) Bottomline – bet on the TRC get the fourth playoff slot and CSK second place.
