Dubai: Punjab Kings Kl Rahul, Maya Agarwal and Mohammed Shami, who is part of the Indian squad for the English test series, landed in Dubai on Sunday for the second half of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021.
The three players will now undergo quarantine six days Mandatory and after that the players will join the rest of the squad.
Earlier on Sundays, Mother Delhi players also landed in Dubai from England safely.
The players, including Rishabh pants, Ravichandran Ashwin, Ajinkya Rahane, Ishant Sharma, Axar Patel, Prithvi Shaw and Umesh Yadav, undergoing Covid-19 tests on arrival in Dubai.
“The players will present a hard quarantine of six days according to the IPL protocol, where they will be tested three times.
After that, the players will join the entire Maleri Delhi forces, who have become part of Bio-Bubble,” the franchise in his official statement.
The control board for Cricket in India (BCCI) has notified all the franchises that every player who comes from England must undergo six days of hard quarantine before they can join the team bubble in the UAE to resume 2021 IPL edition.
With the final test between India and England in Manchester, the IPL franchise on Friday contacted the charter company to fly their players from Manchester to the UAE to resume the rich league.
The 14th season, which was postponed in May this year after the Pandemic Covid-19, will be continued on September 19 in Dubai with the game between Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians defense.
