New Delhi: AHmedabad IPL franchise in a predictable line has signed a hardik pandya and Afghanistan leg-spinner Rashid Khan but is preferably the young Indian opener Shubman Gill for the upcoming season of the Indian Premier League.
PTI was the first to report on January 10 that pandya was ready for the Ahmedabad franchise captain for this season and they have also completed Rashid Khan, which otherwise will go for “bombs” at the auction.

However, their third choice Ishan Kiswan did not exercise and they focused on Gill, which could also be seen as potential captain candidates.
