IPL Auction: Raina, Smith and Shakib among high profile names for not sold

Bengaluru: Suresh Raina, Steve Smith, and Shakib Al Hasan are one of the high profile names that are not sold at the Indian Mega Premier League (IPL) auction on Saturdays.
However, these three names will appear again in the auction and they may find the bidder in the accelerated part of the auction.
India All-Rounder Hooda Deepak for sale to Lucknow Super Giants for RS 5.75 Crore While Harshal Patel was picked up by the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) for Rs 10.75 Crore.
Nitish shutter was picked up by KKR for RS 8 Crore while West Indies All-Rounder Jason Holder was purchased by Lucknow Super Giants for RS 8.75 Crore.
Bangladesh All-Rounder Shakib Al Hasan remains not sold because no franchise shows interest in him.
Indian Dough Manish Pandey was picked by Lucknow Super Giants for Rs 4.6 Crore.
Windies the left hand dough Shimron Hetmyer was bought by Rajasthan Royals for Rs 8.5 Crore.
Indian Dough Robin Uthappa was acquired by Chennai Super Kings (CSK) for RS 2 Crore.
British opening dough Jason Roy was acquired by Gujarat Titans for Rs 2 Crore.
Proteas player David Miller was not sold at auction because there were no takers for him, however, he might be picked up at the accelerated auction that will take place later.
India opened the Devdutt Padikkal dough sold to Rajasthan Royals for Rs 7.75 Crore, while Suresh Raina and Steve Smith were not sold with auction.
West Indies All-rounder Dwayne Bravo was taken by Chennai Super Kings for RS 4.4 Crore.
Previously in auction, India opened the Shikhar Dhawan Batsman acquired by Punjab Kings for Rs 8.25 Crore.
Spinner Ravichandran Ashwin was bought by Rajasthan Royals for RS 5 Crore.
Australia Test Captain Pat Cummins was taken by Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) for Rs 7.25 Crore.
Proteas Pacer Kagiso Rabada was acquired by Punjab Kings for Rs 9.25 Crore.
Kiwi Pacer Trent Boults are sold to Rajasthan Royals for RS 8 Crore.
Shreyas Iyer was taken by KKR for Rs 12.25 Crore.
India Pacer Mohammed Shami was picked up by Gujarat Titans for RS 6.25 Crore.
South African dough FAF du Plessis was taken by the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) for RS 7 Crore.
Lucknow Super Giants took Quinton de Kock for Rs 6.75 Crore.
Australia opened David Warner’s dough taken by Delhi Cottital for Rs 6.25 Crore.
