Iran announced to record the death toll for the second day
Written by news2in

Tehran: Iran has recorded a record of high deaths from Covid-19 for second day in a row.
The official news agency Irna said Monday that 655 patients died in the previous 24 hours, and health workers found around 41,194 new cases during the same period.
On Sundays, Iran reported 620 deaths.
The report came when the country imposed five-day lock starting Monday.
This includes a ban on a private car that crosses between provinces.
The new surge has been driven by a contagious Delta variant.
The Iranian authorities say less than 40% of the population follows steps such as wearing facial masks and social distance.
Iranian health officials regularly warned that hospitals in the capital, Tehran and other major cities were overwhelmed with Covid-19 patients.
This is a fifth wave of Coronavirus infection as a country struggling to vaccinate the people.
About 4% of Iranians have been fully vaccinated.
