Tehran: The Iranian government on Saturday was rejected as an “unfounded” accusation by G7 foreign ministers that it was behind the deadly drone attack on the tanker off last week.
“We strongly condemned the statement unfounded by foreign ministers G7 and high European Union representatives for foreign affairs where they had directed unfounded accusations in the Islamic Republic of Iran,” said Foreign Ministry spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh in a statement.
