Tehran: Iran has detected the first case of the Omicron Coronavirus variant, Deputy Minister of Health Kamal Heidari told the State television week.
An Iranian man from Tehran has been tested positive after returning from the United Arab Emirates.
“We detected him very quickly and immediately quarantined him and contact cases,” Heidari said.
