TEHRAN: Iran’s supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei cast his ballot at Tehran Friday for its presidential elections, formally opening the surveys, an AFP reporter said.
Almost 60 million eligible voters may cast their ballots by midnight (1930 GMT), and also perhaps for two hours more, together with results expected about noon Saturday, police say.
